Arsenal transfers 25/26

That’s exactly what I would say too…

He defintely has mental deficiencies

"Arsenal fans fear they’re a club losing their grip on their identity. However, a team that shipped 51 goals are set to spend the vast majority of their budget reshaping their attack.

Nothing could be more ‘Arsenal’."

Don’t really know where to post this, but the approach Arsenal are taking is not fixing this team (which is good enough to take 3rd/4th or win the Europa League anyway). The regime are reshaping the team for the future and are in the midst of a rebuild. It’s actually a better approach than making these short-termist signings. It’s get a bit frustrating to consistently read this.

Are they expecting us to throw shit a the wall like United and hope some of it sticks?

Get Tierney in and leave it there. Whoever they bring at CB will flop under current management. Prefer keeping the money and spend it on a proper manager when Emery gets the sack.

Would Allegri fit the bill? I don’t think Emery will get the sack, he simply won’t get a new contract. What’s the worst he could do, not finish in the top-4? He won’t get the sack if he’s 5th, as there will still be hope that he might improve until the end of the season.

I know some here don’t rate Rugani but I’d be happy to take a shot on him if the other options are Chambers and Mustafi.

Juve reportedly rejected a two year loan offer. But I wonder whether they’d do a permanent deal given that they clearly need cash to buy Lukaku with Dybala not moving.

Chiellini is also reportedly back in training and earlier speculation was that his uncertain injury recovery was a big hangup for Juve.

I heavily doubt the club will be pleased finishing 5th after going above and beyond the past two summer windows.
While most transfers have a mind for the future they’re also moves that target immediate return to UCL football at the very least.
I think the fans will make sure they’re heard if our performances and results are not good come winter.

I’d take the risk on Rugani because at least how he’d do is unknown at this stage. We’ve tried Mustafi, we’ve tried Chambers and we already know they’re both shit.

Maybe we might see the Rugani of Empoli and earlier Juventus days where he actually looked like he had promise.

But I doubt this happens because Juve are concerned about Chiellini and I believe Sarri wants to work with Rugani again as they did under the Empoli banner.

I’ll take Rugani on loan and keep Mustafi as well. Rugani in for Kos(and Mavro who will probably leave on loan).
Wishful thinking that if Allegri comes in he will have Rugani, a former player(hopefully without BBC will have more of a chance) of his along with Mustafi and Papa who have passed from Serie A so he may figure something out defensively.

Window shuts on Thursday? Fucking hell, for some reason thought we had longer.

LB, Kos situation and potentially new CB have to be sorted. Squeaky ass time

@LordBendtner I’d say let off a couple of warm up wanks just now, so you don’t blow too early m8

It hardly made sense… was fun to think about prime Coutinho at Pool playing with us, but so many factors that made this a bizarro-world transfer/loan. Need to get LB and maybe more importantly CB sorted and jettison a couple of more (including Koss).

Rusty? :gabriel:

Rusty, red, inflamed and flaky ballsack to be more precise.
