Big no to Adingra

Why? I think he’s a good prospect

I like Adingra but for the price Brighton will want we may as well have gone for Neto.

Probably be looking at similar money to Nico Williams.

Then watch him be out for the season Timber stylee…60 minutes played and he is done. You just know it would happen to us!

He seems to be surplus currently or I might be reading it wrong.
Played 30-40 minutes in total so far. Mind you, he has 2 G/As in that time.

They seem to have stockpiled on players this summer which still doesn’t look right. They’ve got no Europe to worry about this season too.
I do expect someone to go by the end of the window.

For what is worth, when Brighton played Roma in the EL he was the best player on the pitch for me. He was getting past his opponents with such ease, he played on both sides across the tie.

He could potentially turn out to be that level of player tbf

Yeah that’s why I think the fee will be high, he’s put his name out there in the opening couple of games despite only being used in parts. We’ve seen Brighton hold out for top dollar and I don’t see why they won’t again here.

If it was a 30m deal I’d be well up for it, beyond that means he’s our big name winger signing without the big name attached to it. If we’re gonna punt 50m I think there were/are better options.

I think we’re all fully aware of his situation. The guy is toasted and on too much money.

I wonder if we will make an ā€œimportantā€ offer?

PLEASE don’t help chavski by taking their garbage! :charlie:

Didn’t want to mention it so because I still don’t think there’s anything in it yet but in the embargoed presser Arteta talked about Sterling more and he was incredibly complimentary on Sterling, especially on his mentality, commitment, etc.

People forget that Arteta and Sterling were really close at City. It was even documented in the City doc.

Sterling back-up option…

Imagine we spent 10 years developing Eddie into a PL striker, have a summer of hard thought negotiations and then we dump the lot on a washed Sterling. Nahhhhhhh there’s no way
