Arsenal transfers 25/26

Some guy on Twitter just posted a stream of shite about Zaha from the independent saying we want to loan a player, exchange a player and put up 55 million cash with 10 million add one.

If we went up to £50-55m and threw in Chambers (given their need for a AWB replacement), there is a 5% chance it might work if Zaha applies internal pressure.

Personally, I think we should sack this transfer off entirely and focus on other targets. Zaha for that sort of price is not value for money and we are wasting time here playing a game of brinkmanship.

Agreed.

I absolutely believe we can make this deal happen. Whether we push the extra mile is an another story. I can see why some people are put of by the price tag but honestly I find Zaha a really exciting player to watch.

When you think back to how much of the ball Iwobi had on the left flank last season and how little he actually did with it I think fans will soon forget about the price tag when they see Zaha opening up defenses for us.

Then once all the United fans start crying about how they shouldn’t have let him go Arsenal fans will say we could have paid double and he’d have been worth it.

It will all work out and it will be glorious.

Rennes and Koscielny

If Zaha has put pressure on Crystal Palace then he has made it very difficult for them to keep him.
He is their best player but do they want a player that’s unhappy.

We’ve had this done to us loads of times and we’ve had to sell our best players on the cheap because the buying club have unsettled the player and there are no other clubs involved.

Although they are in a strong position, they do have to realise that keeping a player that wants to leave could see his value drop, so they might as well get the best money they can, as well as a player like Chambers they need as part of the deal.

I don’t rate Zaha but Zaha over Nelson any day of the week.

How about Nelson for free Vs Zaha for £50m?

Or have we not had enough spunking of our cash on these short term purchases?

ā€œGiving up Nelson on loan,ā€ lmao. Fuck me Wenger done a number on some of our fans. First they don’t want us to spend money now we can’t even loan a player to sweeten a deal, even though the kid could really benefit from playing time in the EPL.

Do people really think we’re going to climb out of this pit of mediocrity without risking it on a high reward transfer from time to time.

So am I. :disappointed:

You mean like instead of going out to a restaurant to eat, instead steal left overs from the restaurants bins outside? It’s saves so much money.

I like Fraser but he’s pretty much only really been good for 1 season, Zaha>Fraser easily

Yea I went on a Bournemouth forum to read up on Fraser after the links and they all thought Zaha was the far better player after watching the 2 in the flesh
