Arsenal transfers 24/25

Bit of a worry. I don’t know how you could trust a coach who watched Runnarson and said “yeah, he’ll do”

I’m not sure it is at all worrying that someone made one bad call on a backup keeper that was never going to be an important player for us.

You need to get better at it then lol it doesn’t read at all like that

Idk seems like an end-user error on your part.

Maybe next summer?

He is excellent. I won’t mind him at all.

Sounds mbueno to me.

Like him well enough for the level below but I’m not convinced he’s of the level, also he plays on the right or plays in a two up top.

Physically isn’t the profile for me either, doesn’t have the explosive athleticism and other key traits of my ideal wide player.

Just for the beard alone, I’d have him

A grafter. But very average output.

…. And the PR game has started. Every single summer we hear this. Yawn.

Exactly my thoughts.

I like him, but I think he’s a great fit for Brentford’s specific setup where he plays as a hybrid winger/9… Not sure he has the tools to player either as winger or a 9 in our setup.

This is very positive…next summer we need: top quality replacement for Partey, top quality striker, and a top quality winger.

Going by recent traditions, we will also need another GK and defender as well!

However, No.6, Striker, and Winger are the three main positions where we need a quality addition. We need a transformational signing.

I think we’ll only get two of those positions but they’ll be top quality so maybe a midfielder and either a winger or striker.

Biut Arteta has done well in this window to get Sterling on loan because he’s a decent player for a position we need, as well as Califiori and Merino, with a net spend of very little, so in the next window he should have enough money to get what he needs.

Yeah I don’t disagree…two out of three would be excellent though! At present I am back on the Zubimendi train, followed by Isak and Kvaratskhelia. Probably not that much change from £250m there!

Didn’t we sorta prove it to be true last summer by signing Rice for over 100 million fookin quid?

We’ve got the cash for the right player, and a bit of patience in the market, making sure we make the right big money signings, should mean no more Pepes for us.

Don’t really get how anyone can complain about our overall spend since Arteta came in tbh.
