Yep. Thatās always been evident to me, we get less penalties than league leaders. I think itās a mixture of referee bias against us and our players not knowing/not being coached how to search for and maximize contact in the penalty area.

Was suprised to see us so low on open play XG this year. In 23 and 24 we were closest to Liverpool Man City and then set pieces was bridging the gap and making us genuine contenders.
This season set pieces are doing a ridiculous amount of the heavy lifting.
Arteta has to get the team performing at that 23/24 level again or weāre going to very quickly start picking up lots of draws similar to last season.
