I’m pretty surprised by that stat but you have to take into account that most of our European exits in the last two decades or so have been against the really big hitters, and we didn’t exactly play much European football in the 70s/80s.

I think it’s a stat we’re capable of burying against Rennes :crossed_fingers:

I don’t know if anyone has mentioned this before but I have just realised that this is the first game we have had against Man U at home, where either Ferguson or Wenger wasn’t the manager, for thirty three years.
It seems strange without either of them sitting on the side lines.
