Imagine if he had said, “we sponsored Arsenal for that amount because we feel they have reached a level they’re comfortable with, and the Europa League is a great competition.”
I just hope none of this money goes into Kroenke’s ever expanding back pocket and the company ensure all their money is spent on top quality players.
Maybe some of the world class, Adidas sponsored players, might be persuaded to come here.
It’s a bit of an uneducated question in my opinion. The Premier League is probably the most viewed League in the world. London is the 24th biggest city in the world. Arsenal has a huge following around the world. I mean you yourself are situated in India talking about the club on this board. Arsenal has a lot of other things to offer other than recent PL/CL success.
I like that zigger-zagger yellow shirt. Doesn’t apply here, but the one thing I never want to see again are those screen-printed laurel wreath logos. Fucking awful, those.
Oh, and I’d go for a proper embroidered cannon instead of the usual crest.
