Yeah, annoying isn’t it? I’m keeping an eye out for the re-release of the Anfield 89 shirt, might sell my original for £300 maybe throw in my programme from the game for another £100, then buy one the reissue at a profit.
Something doesn’t look right about this new reissue though, the blue on the arms look more purple and the collar looks a bit off too.
At least the old Nike kits’ values are safe for the next few years.
Fuck, just seen that my original players’ version is going for between £750 and £1,000 on ebay. That’s probably a little too much but not bad for something that cost me £45 in 1992.
A cautionary lesson for youngsters, football shirts are a better investment than a pension scheme.
Real talk, if any of my shirts were worth that much, they’d get sold.
Though to be fair what you need to look at is what that shirt has sold for recently, not the price it is listed at on ebay, as there’s often a big gap between the two.
I got the NTS hoodie. I love it, apart from it only having a pocket on one side.
Adidas keep doing this, last seasons lovely light turquoise “hoodie” didn’t have any pockets.
Someone needs to have a word, I’ve got cold hands to hide away.
Does anyone know if any other club is operating in this “fashion”?
Feels like every other week some new merch drops and or we do a collab with someone.
