I thought the same today, and actually the away kit is growing on me too after seeing a lot of fans wearing it at Wembley today.

I’m in the mood to splurge some money on some shirts. Preferable pre and early 90’s shirts. Where would people recommend buying from, don’t want to buy poor quality fakes at premium prices.
I can only speak to the two Ireland jerseys I got from here but they are very good quality. A bit pricier than your average rip off site but no complaints. (They are China based so they’ll take a while to get to you)

If you’re looking for legit shirts rather than newly made replicas of old kits. Have shopped with them quite a bit, so they’re trustworthy.

I find it strange that we’re with adidas and yet we’re selling non-adidas versions of their old shirts.
Why not just re-release the original? There’s clearly a market for it, JVC are clearly good with having their name on the shirt.
Not only the above, but to those who’ve owned the original at some point, it just doesn’t look right.

Got to say that I am warming to the away shirt even more after seeing a lot of fans wearing it to the match yesterday. Definitively distinctive and unique, maybe a little niche, but in design terms that can be a big positive. Saying all that, I think I am going to settle for the home shirt this season but was pleased that the away shirt wasn’t the car crash that it looked like originally.

I kept thinking they were going to rerelease that 92-94 shirt around Christmas last year but they did that weird retro “inspired” line instead.
Yeah, they did that for a few clubs, I wasn’t a huge fan when adidas designs went all blocky in the early nineties.
We had 3 limited edition re-releases in the first couple of years, nothing since.

I’ve got both the home and away Invincibles shirts signed by Pires, should really get em framed and hung up somewhere (if my United supporting Mrs will allow

Got a bar at the bottom of the garden so all the stuff from over the years is in there.
