There’s a lovely story in that Fabrice interview.
When Fabrice was down(not the lovely incident ofcourse), a Tottenham fan ran onto the pitch because he was a cardiologist.

Should be a low bar for civic duty but nevertheless lovely to know that a Tottenham fan saved an Arsenal boy.

10th’s a familiar feeling these days

Drew up 2 2 opening day of the season at Everton.
Two good results as they were the defending champions at that time.

We played Everton twice in the first 13 games ??

Seems so looking it up. That was when teams played 42 games too. Interesting.

Yeah strange one that.

Up until a few seasons ago, I can recall playing the same team twice by Christmas before even playing another team once in the league.

Being reminded that Santi’s final game was in October 2016 when he didn’t leave the club til the summer of 2018 just makes me want to cry

That really fucked us losing him but we’ve had 4-5 years now to sort a replacement. The problem is how do you replace someone like Santi!

We could have bought Diaby back. :grinning:

2 absolute cracking games, amazing to think they’re 10 and 13 years ago respectively.

Sometimes I forget just how bad Almunia was… I cannot believe we dropped Lehmann for that.
