Alexander Isak

Sesko seems like the one the club wants. They’ve been in for him, fairly seriously it seems, each of the last two windows. I think we’d be more likely to do that than Isak for £130 million.

who is this inbred now…these people are such bullshitters as if Newcastle are gonna sell Isak.

Ive figured it out.

Let Newcastle into a final, they lose focus in the league as players don’t want to get injured. Drop out of top 4. Isak drops a transfer request. In we swoop.

Arteta has done it again.

Wait wait it’s complicated. We should be patient and hope there’s an opportunity in the market.

Isak is just too expensive.

Wouldn’t be surprised if he goes to Liverpool tbh.

he aint going nowhere, you think those owners are gonna just let their most valuable asset walk out the door.

Still can’t wrap my head how good he’s become.
I was critical of him earlier in the season when he came back, he looked heavy and he wasn’t moving as he used to, I thought the injuries took a toll on him.
I was very wrong, seeing more and more of him this season it’s clear he’s taken further steps to become a true poacher.

He’s not shying away from contact anymore, he competes in the air, his positioning is lethal, he floats out wide less and is more selective on when to get the ball. When he gets the ball now you know you’re in trouble.

His performances against us this season compared to the previous ones are like night and day. Honestly, he might be the best #9 out there today.

You make him sound like Francis Jeffers. :winking_face_with_tongue:

Haaland scored more goals, but I would pay to watch Isak instead.
His football is more enjoyable.

Put Isak or Kane in City’s side of the last 3 years and they all score just as many goals as he does imo.

It’s ridiculous we’ve waited so long to buy a top quality striker but what’s more ridiculous is the idea that Newcastle have the richest owners in Europe and would sell us their best player.

They have issues with PSR so being rich doesn’t mean a whole lot. Better argument would be that they would sell others before Isak.

I don’t think they will sell him either, but there is definitely a scenario in which they do sell Isak and reinvest the money in 2-3 players.

I think he’ll push for a move if they don’t make champs

What would happen if we took Isak and out him in the Dortmund and Salzburg teams? Do you think he’d have hit the same numbers?

No.

There’s nothing that we have to work on that suggests Isak would ever be capable of matching Haaland numbers. Literally nothing.

He’s never done it in his career and now you’re creating a hypothetical scenario where he’d somehow become a goal a game striker just because he played for City.

Aguero wasn’t. Isak wouldn’t be.

Haaland is. Because that’s what he does, he’s a generational talent and one of the best goal scorers I’ve ever seen.
