Ainsley Maitland-Niles

Is this guy going or staying because his number is back :unamused:

Apparently Wolves have started looking elsewhere.

Doherty is joining the Scum?! What the fuck :joy:

Well there he goes from my FPL haha saving me 6M in the process

Seems pretty made up, just because Wolves are looking for a RB and Amn has played RB for us. Amn doesn’t want to play as a RB for what I understand. Just like Ox he wants to play in the midfield and I doubt he would join any club without security about his role.

Read that Arteta likes and rates AMN and that the board overruled him, however that was before the Raul resignation/sacking so hopefully that means we keep him on. I was very impressed with him in both the semi finals and final, so hoping that if he stays on Arteta can get even more out of him and we see even more improvements.

We want AMN to stay but AMN will leave because he wants to I think.

He wants to start as a midfielder I think.

AMN wants to play as an AM?

Honestly in our current state, I don’t see why that’s such a big issue. It’s currently looking like we have just Xhaka and Elneny, in which case I would personally be more than happy to give AMN a chance there. Ox came good after moving to Liverpool and moving into a more central role under a good manager. If anyone can help AMN unlock that potential it’s got to be Arteta.

Interesting, I know he’s part of AFTV but Troopz does have connections with some of our players.

No, just a M

Hopefully this clears up all the speculation and we get to see AMN next year.

WOLVES TO BID FOR MAITLAND-NILES AGAIN?

Sky Sports’ Dharmesh Sheth:

“You just wonder what impact this will have for Wolves. They had a bid for Ainsley Maitland-Niles rejected. Perhaps they will now go back in, using some of the money they have for Matt Doherty to make an improved offer.”

£30m please.

Let us sell both AMN and Bellerin for £60-70 M and then buy Aouar with that money.

They’ve lost more in Doherty than what they gain here.

Old school player this lad but who fits the modern approach perfectly. Not just because he’s Irish but there’s a touch of Dennis Irwin about him for me.

A move to Wolverhampton would be a great gift.

Decent fee too, saw it as £15m

I’d have done that
