Danilo was absolutely terrible at Madrid. Didn’t look like a footballer at all. Might be he was just playing with no confidence (I think he played a little bit better in their final games of the season but not sure?), as it’s very strange that enough scouts would seem to rate him for Madrid to have paid the fee they did for him in the first place and now Pep’s City buy him, but I’m surprised there haven’t been people questioning that move. Maybe Pep intends to use him as a central defender in a back three? Dunno, but 30m for him from Madrid seems an exorbitant fee for what was such a limited player at Madrid.
