I think if we are looking at three players of that quality it must mean Wenger is resigned to losing Sanchez and won’t risk running down his contract.
Mahrez replacing Sanchez, and Lacazette and Lemar, with maybe Walcott and Perez leaving would represent a decent window.
Mahrez, Lemar and Mbappe, would be a brilliant window, even if Sanchez left.

I think that is exactly what Wenger is doing.
He will sell to the highest bidder, after we have bought Mahrez, Lemar, or whoever his replacement will be, so he won’t be paying selling clubs more, because they know we have 50m from the sale of Sanchez.
Although i would imagine any selling club would know that anyway.
As for glass half full, I have sat through too many underwhelming transfer windows for it to be any more
