Signing Malcom and a young striker with potential to back up Lacazette/replace Giroud and Welbeck would be a far more responsible move for the club. Even just holding onto the money and going all in for a better fit like Fekir in the summer would be better. But it’s amazing, even responsible is one of the vaguely positive adjectives that you can’t use to describe Wenger anymore.
Really don’t understand how people can like this move. Short-termism/desperation at its finest. Oh well, here’s to hoping Auba ages exceptionally well.
