Other Clubs' Transfers

Typical Arsenal over the last 10 years. Try a cheeky offer about 20% under what the club want. Get’s rejected, Arsenal wait as they think they will reconsider. They don’t and then it’s too late. We are a laughing stock in the transfer market.

So Spuds will be getting an upgrade on Walker for under half of what he went for.

Spurs outspending Arsenal whilst building their own stadium. Great.

Uhm Lacazette cost more than both of their signings combined.

Sanchez was 40 million .

That’s including add ons though, right?

I think 42 million is the sum including add-ons.

£38m was the fee reported, anything else is addons.

By whom? Cause the BBC just reported the 42 million sum.

Sky. But it’s irrelevant how much they spend.

So… £38m plus whatever Aurier costs them, that’s more than what Lacazette cost, particularly if we are consistent and don’t include the add ons for Laca

I didn’t realise they had bought Aurier.

When you said “both” I thought that must be what you were referring to, because I wasn’t aware of any other signings aside from the Ajax defender.

Aurier hasn’t gone through yet for what it’s worth, but it looks like it is about to and is essentially a done deal.

I meant that keeper.

Anyway, it’s still irrelevant. People put way too much stock in how much is spent.
