January Transfer window thread

Wow.
From the depths of Hull to the dizzy heights of Burnley.
I just hope Snodgrass can cope with such a massive leap in quality.
From a PL minnow, to one of the most prestigious clubs in Europe.

Slightly improvement for him. He could easily play for Everton, tbf.

Don’t be a dick  Snodgrass is a very good player for that kind of club.

With him not agreeing a contract extension they probably want to get good money for him.

I was speaking to someone at Arsenal yesterday and they told me that we are very very close to not signing a Top Top name .
He also told me they are trying very hard but are unlikely to be able to find anyone swedish with broken vertabrae in time for the deadline but have men stationed at Gotheburg A+E just in case !

I agree, in fact that is what I find strange.

He is too good for either club, especially as both could be playing in the Championship next season.
I would have thought he is good enough for a mid table club like Southampton, Everton or West Ham.

I think Burnley will comfortably stay up this season. Solid at home.

If West Ham are ready to pay a fee around 13M for Snodgrass, Payet is set to join OM during the next days.

West Ham getting the better player.

Sounds of things at Hull, is they are being massively asset stripped by the owners who are desperate to sell up…rather than the players refusing new contracts…

Yep thought the same. Not that I give a fuck about Hull per se but that is a shame in some ways.

Silva will be happy. He has just arrived and they sell their best player :poldi:

Niang to Watford with option to buy.

Snodgrass would do better to wait until season end , less fee more wages and better club !

I think West Ham are desperate as they are losing their best player and free kick specialist.
Snodgrass might not be anywhere near the talent of Payet, but he can take a very good free kick, and for that sort of money, is probably worth it.

This is Matt Jarvis all over again. Never gunna work.

Yes Snoddy :sunglasses:

It will be ok.
In the next transfer window we are going to be signing the world class striker or winger we have been waiting for since RVP left.
All that money we have accumulated is burning a hole in Wenger’s very deep pocket :grinning:
