Borussia vs. Borussia today
If it were in England the media would probably call it ‘the Borussia derby’
In Germany they’ve gotten idiotic with these sort of labels, too. Just take “Der Klassiker” or, even worse, “Die Mannschaft”. No German ever called the national team “die Mannschaft”. Then some sports commentator from the US starts using it, it sticks and now even the German federation calls the national team “die Mannschaft” for marketing purposes.
Oh my.
Dortmund go one goal down. Instantly equalise.

Piszczek 2-1.

Ja Dortmund Ja! Easy win in the end :ozil2:
Man Wolfsburg are crap this season.
Always knew Draxler was overhyped as well, albeit he didn’t start today’s game.
His goals and assists record is fucking putrid for someone that is as hyped up as him.
His performances as well.
He is like what Pogba has been so far for United.
When he clicks, he makes an attractive contribution but often he just there on periphery of the whole play.
He needs a great team around him to make him look good & even then he won’t be consistent.
By the looks of these, Dembele & Reus had fun.
Dembele goal.
Auba’s
Leipzig still top after beating Schalke 2-1 :bellerin:
There will be offers for Dembele of the highest order. He is the most talented attacking youngster in the world. It will be interesting to see for how long Dortmund can keep him.
Hamburg vs Darmstadt, or possibly the other way round.
If they don’t win this one (after that North German DERBY) then you wonder how the hell they will get a win all season.
Hamburger SV currently winning 0-1 away to Darmstadt. Switched stream on and first thing I see is a beautiful shot of the moon through the net on the goal. The cameraman is wasted doing fussball.
First win in the league for Hamburg! :cech:
What is the literal translation of Die Mannschaft?
Unless it surprisingly differs from our Germanic language, literally it means the manship. die makes it definite, ship in the same sense as friendship (freundschaft) or partnership (partnerschaft), not literally a boat lol. mann here is the more broad “people”-version of man, just like mankind (which also includes women).
