Haven’t watched them for four games but they’ve had injury issues. Reus, Schuerrle, Castro, Sokratis. Latter 3 back now.

Plus they’re having to bed in a whole new attacking line-up (bar Aubameyang) with the wide spaces currently being occupied by 3 18/19 year olds. All 3 of which are brand new to the league. Though saying that they’ve done quite well. Dembele is really, Really good.

Lastly, Is Mario Goetze kinda meh now?

I’ve been reading a couple of articles on Julian Nagelsmann. Interesting man I must say. Very, very young (28yo), Tuchel as his mentor, saved Hoffenheim from ‘certain’ relegation last season and are currently fourth in the table this season. He has his own very analytical and detailed approach to managing, a charismatic leader. They play Bayern today.

You can’t expect to go far with a defence with Djourou and Spahic in it. Djourou was alright there when he first moved but should’ve been canned long ago.
