Arsène Wenger

I had Wenger down as a Sex On The Beach guy

Lol no that’s literally all it is, look it up. I’m in that industry not to be an ass but I know my shit lol.

I trust you.
When will you send me 2 bottles of sample??? :wenger:

Actually apologies Ronnie what i told you is a very simplistic way of explaining it to you. Nobody really knows why the difference in spelling but that whole country of origin thing is what everyone sticks to because it makes the most sense lol.

I believe it comes from different translations from irish and scottish gaelic. That could be wrong though!

The translation is what I got as an explanation from Google. I never cared enough to check before :slight_smile:

Edit: I just assumed the scots were wrong. :slight_smile:

It is but when other countries started making whiskey and selling it they were confused as to how to spell it lol.

I always just assumed it was because Americans are fucking lazy spellers.

USA = Whisky

UK/Ireland = Whiskey

I think it is the other way around?

USA = Whiskey
UK = Whisky???

Well, at least when it comes down to Fuck and Porn… we are all the same

I’ve never called it that in my life lol. Its whisky :wink:

Hah interesting, just looked it up and apparently it’s Whiskey in Ireland and Whisky in Scotland.

But other than that there doesn’t seem to be much consensus behind either one or any specific rules to it.

Whiskey/whisky nmemonics:
Here’s a quick way to remember how some of the world’s biggest producers spell their products:

Countries that have E’s in their names (UnitEd StatEs and IrEland) tend to spell it whiskEy (plural whiskeys)Countries without E’s in their names (Canada, Scotland, and Japan) spell it whisky (plural whiskies)

best whisk(e)y in the world?

Suntory Yamazaki Sherry Cask, Japanese Whisky. That’s if you listen to Jim Murray author of “The Whiskey Bible” :blush:

You know the guy that invented Japanese whisky, or created it or whatever, he went to uni here in Glasgow.

No scotch?? I’m not a whisky drinker but have we fallen off in that arena as well??

Sure did. Studied under the scotch masters and then went home and created some dank whiskey. His apprentice also studied there and branched off to make his own Japanese whisky. In fact his apprentice married a Scottish woman.

@Electrifying scotch is still hot. Glen Grant 18 is the #1 scotch atm.
