Arsène Wenger

I fear Wenger is after some big players, but he is gonna try to sign them in august on a cheap. He has always done it

Just like Wenger.

The thing is you don’t know how much all this behind the scenes is true. For one thing Cazorla said the reason he scored his FA Cup freekick is because Wenger pointed out that their keeper came off his line to set up his wall.

The whole ‘director of football’ battle could have been complete BS made up by the media.

The whole director of football was always going to be much ado about nothing regardless… I don’t even give a flying f*ck one way or another b/c if true it was just a pathetic attempt by owner/board to not address the root cause and instead put in some lame/irrelevant control to try to improve a broken system. Extension tells me all I need to know about the owner/board - they won’t remove AW under almost any scenario.

ha! so true. wait… are you…?

I am already not looking forward to another two seasons under Wenger’s reign. What a shambles.

Who said it will only be 2? There are always contract extensions :giroud3: :henry2:

Nick Hornby looks back on Arsenal’s worst season in 21 years

http://www.espnfc.com/club/arsenal/359/blog/post/3143118/nick-hornby-on-arsenal-and-arsene-wenger-after-horrible-premier-league-campaign

Nonsense article about Corbyn and Wenger. Something I read more often is how this is supposed to our worst season ever. But the worrisome thing is that it wasn’t. With 75 points we’ve pretty much done what we have been doing for the past 5 seasons. But Tottenham and Liverpool have caught up with us. If that’s a structural thing and they don’t fall off that’s going to be a problem.

From the article: “Mesut Ozil finally producing a performance against a top-six team.”

That’s just lazy rubbish.

The content of the article wasn’t that important to me or relevant to the point I wanted to make  (called it a nonsense article). The title and the notion that Arsenal played their worse season moreso.

13 minutes to go Arsene, get it right.

With VAR, we would have beaten Manure many times :mustafi:

All if and buts. But let’s face it, Lehmann getting himself sent off made the task much harder after that, regardless of VAR.

Ferguson would still have been in charge of whoever was responsible for the VAR.
Didn’t Man U hold the record for not conceding a penalty at home?
I wonder how many they would have conceded if they had a VAR?

Not to mention (i hated this so fucking much made me really hate Manu more than anything) the amount of times they commited a blatant red card offense in front of the ref only for it to be waved away, 5 minutes later one of our players gets a red card for a somewhat clumsy but non dangerous tackle, sometimes even a decent tackle but rolling around play acting…FUCK MANU!

13 minutes away from a Champions League… that hurts so much

Seems journalists are now picking up on this.
