Any Wenger Outs at Wembley last night?
It’s hard to see what Wenger is gong to do.
He has been overtaken in the PL by Pochettino, a manager relatively new to the PL, with a team that, before this season, had arguably very few players that would get into our first team.
He can’t come out and blame injuries, because we have had as many as the other top clubs.
He can’t say that this group of players is going to come good, because clearly they haven’t and, if anything, we have gone backwards.
This group of players have been here have played together for several seasons and they are never going to win the PL, with him as manager.
The only option he has is to say that he is going to overhaul the first team. spend every penny he has available, sell the under performing players, keep our best players and buy two or three world class players.
The problem with that is that it would be like saying that everything he has done, in recent seasons, has been wrong, and that is not something I have never seen him do.
I really can’t see how he could possibly sign a new contract, because he must know, like everyone else, that he has fallen behind all our rivals who have better managers, better players and more ambition.
What a mess he is going to leave behind.
What top quality manager is going to want to clear that lot up?
What manager wouldnt want to come here?
