I don’t take him for his word anymore mate and even Ornstein said we’re “reticent” to sell him to PL rival. Unfortunately I think the City story has major legs.

I think that was always going to happen.
If he does leave, we are going to have to replace him with a world class player, as well as get a Cazorla replacement and the never ending wait for a world class striker.
If Wenger had sorted out a world class striker and maybe some other top quality players Sanchez might not be leaving.
We finished fifth with Sanchez as easily our best, and most influential player, I can’t see how we are going to get a top four place without him.

What is the right way about this situation?
According to the media, Alexis Sànchez has only one prupose from a third club (Manchester City) because his wage demand was too high for Bayern Munich and their new policy to pursue young & talented players.
Wenger said many times the volunty to stop any attempt from a Premier League to sign the chilean because doesn’t want a Robin van Persie bis.
What is better? Keep a player with no intention to play for the team which pay his wage (try to remember Cesc latest season with us) or sell him for 50/60M to a direct rival for the title?
Keep Sanchez he will still bust a gut for the season anyways, it’s not in his nature to be half arsed.

Sanchez is still under contract so technically it’s not up to him to decide where he’ll be playing next season. I hope if he does ask for a move to City, we tell him “fuck off, you’re staying put!”
