For some reason people donât seem to understand that a midfielder that actively avoids participation inâŚerm, midfield play, is a very bad midfielder.
They had the same problem with Flamini.
I donât give a fuck whether it was Xhaka or Michael Carrick or Mikel Arteta out of retirement for a day on the bench today, any one of them shouldâve been on the pitch before Coquelin. I donât even really give a fuck about Xhaka tbh, lol, I wasnât one of the people who hyped him up last spring or knew anything about him, and I wasnât going crazy about him this summer like loads of you were either, I just had the naive and hopeful idea that Wenger might have spent money on a midfield player because he wanted a real midfield player again/had an idea how to use one without him just kinda going and doing it himself like Arteta did.
