Donnie Darko - watched it at the weekend after hearing a lot about it. Thought that Gyllenhaal was superb and whilst large parts of the movie were puzzlingly surreal I thought the whole thing worked extremely well.

    War of the Worlds.

Lot“s of noise and massive scenes but not much else. Gotta be seen in a cinema house though.

War of the worlds for me too, downloaded it and wasnt that impressed. I can imagine it being a bit better in the cinema because of the special effects.

Story was a bit hollow, and Tom Cruise was shit.

War of the worlds at the cinema, What a qulaity movie, im not going to talk about it to much cos it might spoil it for the people who still wana go and see it. If you havent seen it go and see it, the only thing i will say is that i was quite dissapointed by the ending, reminded me of signs.

Iv also recently seen A bronx tale with robert de niro which was a qulaity film, it was on video so its not a new one, Has anyone else seen this, if so what did you think of it?

I saw Birthday Girl on Channel 4 fri night, never heard of the film before but it turned out to be a quite good film and would recommend it, Did anyone else see it, if so what did you think?

its about 12 years old. It was Robert De Niro's directoral debut, and was written by Chazz Palminteri who played Sonny. It was based on his experiences growing up in New York. I thought it was a great film
