Nope, much longer because of all the stoppages. I think games usually run at around 3 hours?

One of the reasons I don't watch it is the length (stoppages as well). I get bored to tears.

It can last 4 hours, but somewhere I read that the total playing time is like 20/30 minutes.

I used to watch NFL and NBA when I was a kid, I don't anymore. It's your fault Arsenal!

Can't believe the amount of adverts. Fuck. Watched it from start to finish though, I was thankful it went down to the wire because for how long that took I wanted to see a decent game. But I'm not any more tempted to give NFL a go, I don't see what it has over football at all.

Also how can these fucks label this "the World Championships", America ain't the world you twats!

I watched the first half last night and thought Baltimore would run away with this. Even had a few quid on them to win by 7 or more points

Gotta give it to the 49ers though for coming back like they did

Redskins will win it next year anyway!

Steelers still only team to win it SIX times then!

Watched up to the Power cut and Thought that may take ages to put right so went to bed....Not seen anything past that, but the Ravens 3rd and 4th Touchdowns were something special.

    De omnibus dubitandum

That's what the Superbowl is all about. It's a yearly holy tradition for huge company's to try and put out their best adverts and compete. You should not expect to see any similarity between football and American Football, its probably more similar to Rugby. Also, its interesting noting that almost all Superbowl's are exciting, they usually go down to the wire. American Football in it's own right is a great sport once you understand it. If you grow up in the states, its part of culture. NFL, NBA, MLB are way bigger markets in the U.S. than MLS football.

That game was so stressful! After it ended my girlfriend and I walked down to the Baltimore harbor and just high fived random strangers! It was a great feeling to win! I can only imagine how good the players feel!

Why has this country suddenly started giving a fuck about this?

I heard that baltimore tried the 4-3 formation last night. Was skeptical playing without any attackers but it seemed to pay of for them in the end.

Never watch a game in the regular season, but the Superbowl is always quality. Great comeback by the 49ers which made the game interesting again. Also had a tenner on them. Pretty terrible they didn't convert that chance when they were 34-29 behind. Could have been a whole different story. Had to stay up till 5 but it was definitely worth it!
