Man, I hate to say that I am feeling that we have no chance of winning a game for the first time in years. And the last time I said that, we were playing Barcelona. Holy cows. Dread to think what the mentality of fans will be after losing to QPR (or draw) and United. RVP will score.
The worst part about this is, I don't even know if we'll look good losing the game. We looked so narrow and out of ideas the other night it was painful to watch. I won't pretend to know anything about the GK we've had on the bench the last month, but surely he'll inspire more confidence than Vito, right?

Well, am gonna watch this one with zero expectations. No, actually, that is not true. I expect us to have loads of possession but concede first, as always. I expect Wenger to throw a few tantrums and give Bould/the fourth ref/anyone around him a earful in french. And in the end, I expect a draw, with Arsene saying that a draw is an improvement and a step in the right direction.

I don't think there is anybody out there who can achieve top 4 with this squad apart from Wenger. Another manager might improve us tactically but over the long-term, I doubt that man could find quality on a budget like Wenger does. Basically, we might get a better coach in but that gain would be mitigated by losing plenty in other areas. I've stated my reasons at length in the Wenger thread before so I don't want to drag up a long ass debate, but in a nutshell that is why it would be a terrible idea to get rid of him imo.

Arshavin to start this one? Something needs to be shaken up and I'd love to see him get a chance. He's no worse than the alternatives.
Theo & Ox should be back so I'd put them in ahead of Arsh but I would definitely use him from the bench. If one or either is out then I would be tempted to start him. I have nothing against Ramsey, unlike some, but he isn't a starter ahead of Theo, Ox & Jack.
Lets get back to winning ways ffs!
