I take it you don't see the irony of that?

I don't, however, it is more likely that you missed the sarcasm in my post.

I doubt it, i think they feel he has done it, charging someone for child murder you have to be sure, because if he turns out to be innocent then his life would be fucked up forever.

I think this case is all a bit weird.

We haven't really been given any details about anything...normally by now there are defined events all over the press/media/internet as in the case of Joanna Yates etc but we actually know very little about anything. This guy has been charged and we don't actually know what evidence they have on him, at this point i am not convinced he has done anything, i think it seems to be a mob mentality convicting the chap before he has been tried.

I think it's all being conducted very oddly....i dunno, most of the peeps that commit these crimes you can see something in their eyes, this guy, well i don't see that same look. It's all not working for me....

My law knowledge is next to zero but I thought if a piece of evidence comes to light in the national press they cant use that in court or something?

What i meant was, usually we get pretty graphic explanations of what has happened etc, that is not the case here at all...

possibly, but you can always get a charge and remand on kidnap or child abduction which is very serious. If she turns up alive now after them announcing she is very likely dead which would of caused great upset and hinder some of the searches for her, they would get slaughtered for it.
Time up Arsene, stand down because this ship needs a new direction.

Funny you should say that Bee, apparently the guy broke down in court and started to cry when he was remanded, now im not for one minute suggesting he is innocent because of these actions but its unusual for these type of offenders to show any remorse or feelings in court i.e Ian Huntly for example!

Hmmmmm, it's intriguing! I wonder when we'll get some, if any, detail....

Maybe after the mob mentality regarding the landlord in the Joanna Yates case and how he was practically found guilty for looking a bit eccentric and having a dodgy haircut, the police have decided now not to release too much info to the press any more.

Who is he showing emotions for though? Maybe himself at the thought of being locked away the rest of his life

Woah! 12 weeks in prison for that? I dont know what he wrote but I am trying to imagine what was so bad in what he said that warranted a 12 week custodial sentence?
