I'd been working almost 11 hours yesterday when I did this thread so my maths was a bit off.

It was actually a super fun exercise because it made me realise how many formations we can go and how much we can adapt to our opponents, as well as the fact that we now have added depth - and that's without accounting for any subs benches.

have you noticed that they are all the same defence. the same defence we had last season.

True but the same defence only when they were available and I think I read somewhere that Vermaelen played in 14 of our 16 league clean sheets last season and yet he only played 29 league games and that defence above wouldn't have let in 8 at Old Trafford.
