ARSENE Wenger wants to reinvest money gained from the sale of Fabregas and Nasri by launching a bid for Rennes midfielder Yann M’Vila.

Although M’Vila, 21, is not seen as a direct replacement for Fabregas, Arsene Wenger believes he would bring a greater physical presence and give Jack Wilshere more freedom.

Arsenal hope a £15m offer may persuade Rennes to part with M’Vila, who has 10 caps for France.

Wenger also maintains an interest in Valencia winger Juan Mata, Shakhtar Donetsk play-maker Jadson and Marseille’s Andre Ayew.

It is thought Ayew has an £11.5m release clause in his contract and he has described Arsenal as “a great club”.

Robin van Persie has succeeded Fabregas as captain, while Emmanuel Eboue has agreed to join Galatasaray and Carlos Vela has gone on loan to Real Sociedad.

That bloke also says that he is very loyal and unlikely to move. He also signed a new deal just this summer.

He is rated but it isn't likely now. As has been repeated ad infinitum, selling clubs are very reluctant to negotiate at this stage of the window, they have no time to find their own replacements.
