    Tomas Rosicky

Tomas Rosicky's agent Pavel Paska has revealed he plans to discuss the Borussia Dortmund star's situation with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger this week.

The Gunners boss is a known admirer of the Czech Republic schemer but opted to sign Alexander Hleb from Stuttgart instead in the summer.

After the defeat to Chelsea leaves the North London side 20 points behind the leaders, Wenger is ready to move in the transfer market in January to bolster his squad.

It is believed that Arsenal may be willing to rival Atletico Madrid for Rosicky's signature if Wenger decides to add another flair player to his squad.

Tomas Rosicky's agent says he has held talks with Arsenal regarding a move for the Borussia Dortmund star.

The Czech international's future has been the subject of frenzied speculation after an off-on move to Atletico Madrid, although the midfield maestro has indicated his preference is to move to Highbury.

The Gunners have already spent big in January by signing Vassiriki Abou Diaby and Emmanuel Adebayor, as well as closing in on Southampton sensation Theo Walcott, and Wenger shows no signs of slowing in his squad rebuilding process.

Rosicky's representative Janos Toth has fuelled speculation by stating: "I am in touch with Arsenal officials", whilst Rosicky himself has again restated his desire to move to Highbury.

The gifted playmaker could follow in Alexander Hleb's footsteps by leaving the Bundesliga to join Wenger's project, and Rosicky has stated he is ready to try his hand in The Premiership.

"I know about Arsenal's interest, its something we are pursing," Rosicky is quoted as saying in The News of the World.

"English football will be a great challenge."

Sounds promising, I'd love to sign him.
The Italian national football team has won the FIFA World Cup 4 times (1934, 1938, 1982, and 2006), trailing only Brazil (with 5). Italy's club sides have won 27 major European trophies, making them the most successful Europian nation in the subject of football.

Excellent techinque, compact, an eye for goal (and a great looking wife ) are the positive points for Tomas. But then again, will he be able to combat the physical nature of the premiership?, well thats a doubt.

Another point, ive never known Wenger to take liking to rotation. So, frankly i dont know why he would want Rosicky if he already has Hleb. But football is more of a squad game now, so if Tomas might get a few games after all., if signed.

I wouldn't mind it if we signed him.

For me, he stood out a few years ago when he was still at Sparta Prague when we beat them 1-0 (Silvinho).

I'm not sure where he'd fit in though, given our other activities and current squad.
Until it happens, it's all just bollocks and conjecture!!
