It's a damn shame they always seem either not giv him the true credit he deserves or they leave the Big L Corleone out of the G.O.A.T rapper discussion altogether, he is probably the most underrated rapper of all time, one of the greatest true lyricists of all time. if he didn't die so early he would have easily cemented his place along with Big, Pac, Nas and Jay Z as one of the all time greats

On a side note I just heard a Papoose track, don't he sound a lot like Big L?

I don't really like Papoose, I've heard a bit of his music, but I find he tries to hard to be lyrical at times and that doesn't always make good music. I think he has talent but he is just a bit heavy. Funny that he's been reasonably known since '97 but never dropped an album, just a massive amount of mixtapes.

Big L on the other hand is one of the true greats. Unfortunately he only released one real album, his second was posthumous, and that's probably why he doesn't get as much recognition as he should. R.I.P.

I heard Papoose was heavily influenced by L. Shame he doesn't possess 1/10th of Big L's talent though.

I remember it was only a few years ago Papoose was being hyped up as the next big thing in rap. Never rated him.

You heard part 2 as well? Not as good as first part, but "I been fuckin' chicks in the ass since I was six and a half". Haha, Big L was a pretty sick human being.. master of horrorcore rap.

Skip to 0:17 for Big L.. O.C. is good, but it's all about L in this song.

Big L was just WAY before his time with his rapping, he was one of the only rappers to murder greats like Jay and Nas on cyphers and freestyles, I still remember that Jay Z and Big L freestyle someone shoud post it

"Ask Beavis I get nothing Butthead"

And I love this track so much, too dope

Oddly, Incesticide is probably my favourite Nirvana album to listen to.
