That would be beautiful if it worked, especially with an in-form Cesc, Song and Diaby behind it.

Arsenal Football Club is open to receive applications for the position of TEAM MANAGER. He must be experienced and possess the highest qualifications for the post, both as to ability and personal character. Gentlemen whose sole ability to build up a good side depends on the payment of heavy and exhorbitant [sic] transfer fees need not apply.
Sir Henry Norris, 1925.

exactly, all arsene needs to do is just to make 1-2 signings.. we've already found a gem centre-back which is vermaelen.
And after this season we can surley confirm that our trio midfielders are fabregas, diaby and song just behind them.

Arshavin plays better behind the 2, but very unlikely wenger will use that kind of formattion.

You know, we should've just spent the extra 5 million to sign him last summer and then we'd have had that van Persie - Chamak - Arshavin option.

I've seen him in youtube videos and his heading ability is second to none. His touch very good to as well. Not sure on his finishing ability and his composure. It looks like he is signing for us in the summer but he still needs to convince me that he's the type of striker we need as although I feel we need a striker I'm not sure whether he's the going to be the Drogba to your Chelsea or your Torres to your Liverpool. Time will tell but I wish him the best of luck if he doe sign for us

I think Arsene is the worst negotiator I have ever heard of.
If there is another suitor in the picture, He never gets what he wants. EVER.
The player has to decide and want to come here......either that or Arsene is the only one looking at him at that time. Otherwise he fails. Its hilarious.

i dont know if any of you have heard of phillipe auclair - hes a close friend of arsene and a french football expert. i heard him speak in a radio interview in the summer, when we all thought we were going to sign him, and he believes that chamakh is great in the air, the best in france if not europe (thats what he said anyway).
we are pretty much certain to sign him in the summer - would i be correct in saying that you think?

Lmfao at Bourdeaux for letting him go on a free when Ligue 1 is sealed up and they haven't a hope in the CL. We'll snap him up no problems, no transfer fees, no bollocks. Bourdeax could stumbled over the finish line with Gourcuff and Gourfrann.
They're in a shit run of form atm though, lost their last game 4-2, drew the one before that 0-0.

cmon! Ramsey wanted to sign for us. Remember? Arsene plays the kids?
Its common knowledge that when we express interest in an established player, other clubs come in and whisk him away. Thats the reason we dont sign stars. ( we make em)

Wasn't Ramsey a United fan when he was growing up?
I think it was Wenger's urgency to actually bring the player to him and talk to him that sealed the deal, ahead of United.
Remember, there is a difference between him originally wanting to sign for us, which probably wasn't the case, and wanting to sign for us after being convinced.

I suppose you forget Arsene signing Robert Pires over Spanish giants Real Madrid. How about Ramsey over Man Utd? Reyes over Chelsea? Senderos over Milan, Man Utd, Chelsea AND Madrid?
Yeah, horrible negotiator.

Chamakh is a very good player. More importantly he is the type of player we need. He is a strong and a physical player but also has the technical level to play for Arsenal. He is good in the air and a lot of his goals have come from headers. He will improve our attack by a lot.
He is also very versatile and can play on the wings.
